CHAMBER WORKS

1111-0110-perc.(2) pno-11111

Repercussions starts with an energetic character while the horn is in dialogue with the ensemble. The energetic nature shifts into soft playing which slowly fades away. Then – changing moods – from humoristic to serious and sometimes gloomy. The horn part is also changing – sometimes as a soloist with the ensemble, sometimes as a soloist alone and sometimes as an ensemble member. What is played at the beginning of the work, further projects – whether it is the musical material, the rhythms or the instrumental colors. These change, shift forms and create new sound entities, but keep the original characteristics.

The work was written for Saar Berger and Ensemble Modern and is dedicated to him.
