CHAMBER WORKS

The piece, written in a single movement, has two distinct parts. The clarinet starts the piece with a very soft murmuring. Gradually all the strings join – each “catches” and holds a note from the clarinet solo and together they lead to a new direction.
At the first part of the piece we can feel fast changes of mood, which are like flashes, which come and disappear. The unity is kept by using similar musical material in different ways throughout the piece.
The second part is more calm with less “flashes”. Towards the end the soft murmur from the beginning becomes louder and louder dominating the other instruments.
